Welcome to Uncle Charlie's Cabin, on the banks of the Mississippi River.
Uncle Charlie's original home (circa 1903), beautifully updated and restored, offers the traveler an avenue to the past,
with the finest of accommodations and an unlimited list of activities year round.
The Cabin is located one block off the Mississippi River in Lansing, Iowa.
In addition to beautiful river views and quiet neighborhood,
Uncle Charlie’s Cabin offers:
- 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths
(sleeps up to 10 people with master bedroom on the main floor)
- 4 decks, boat docking, grill, single car garage
- linens supplied, main floor laundry
- fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker
- satellite tv with vcr/dvd player
- central air conditioning and gas fireplace

Uncle Charlie's has many necessary amenities like linens, towels, dish soap, kleenex, toilet paper, garbage bags, DVDs and cooking utensils. Here are some items you may need to remember:
Personal toiletries, ie, soap, shampoo,
Laundry soap
Beach towels (Cabin towels are not to be used on the river)
Boom box
Extra lawn chairs
Food, snacks, favorite cooking spices (Basics included: salt, pepper, seasoning salt, sugar)
Tupperware, ziplock bags | food containers to bring home your leftovers
