Mississippi River Campground : La Crosse Wisconsin Campground. Pettibone Resort sites are beautiful, with plenty of green grass. Mature trees spaced throughout the park provide both sunny and shady sites. Most sites have concrete wheel strips and exposed rock patio decks. The cool breeze off the Mississippi River makes you feel like you never want to leave.

Pettibone Resort is nestled on the south end of Barron Island in the middle of the Mississippi River. Our West Channel Sites (right) are gorgeous sites which back up to the river. This channel of the river is used by fishermen, water skiers, and the Island Girl Yacht river cruise.



Each site is unique having various combinations of features like concrete patio decks, concrete wheel strips, and 30 amp service. All sites have conditioned water, reliable electrical service, cable TV, picnic table, and campfire ring.



If you require 50 amp service, be sure to request it at reservation, subject to site availability.
